FOUNDER

Eli Gabay
Eli Gabay is Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Growth Venture Partners and is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s business. Eli has a strong track record of successful capital raise and M&A transactional experience, as well as domain, strategic, operational, and financial expertise that augment emerging growth companies and complement its management teams.
Prior to founding GVP, Eli was a senior banker that helped develop SGC’s Technology, Media and Telecom Investment Banking practice, which was the firm’s largest investment banking division. At SGC, Eli worked on the firm’s most significant transactions, and was responsible for all aspects of its business, including transaction origination and execution, strategic focus, marketing, management, and recruiting.
Prior to SGC, Eli was an investment banker at Rutberg & Company and helped develop the firm’s Wireless and Digital Media practice. He helped originate and execute the firm’s most high-profile transactions, and establish the firm’s presence in its respective markets. Prior to Rutberg, Eli held various engineering positions at Thornton Tomasetti, where he worked on prestigious, multi-million dollar skyscraper, sport stadium, and other large commercial projects.
Eli serves as an advisor to a number of growth venture and middle market companies, and holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, a Masters in Engineering from Cornell University, and a Bachelor of Science (Summa Cum Laude) from Polytechnic Institute of New York University, where he has graduated from each institution with honors and distinction.
